This company is internationally renowned and is among the largest diamond and jewellery trading companies in the world. Not only have they engaged in huge transactions in jewellery trading, but have also provided a suite of solutions to jewellery retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers alike.
Challenges
The customer was handling vast quantities of paperwork and was unable to handle their entire process of buying the jewellery, processing and selling efficiently. They wanted a proper all rounder system that would not only in track the workflow at each phase but also help in effective inventory and finance management. The client initially had a legacy system for storing and tracking data, but it was not serving the purpose for them and was causing inefficiencies and wasted person hours impacting their bottom line.
Solutions
WSI Qualify The Sale recommended a complete Salesforce based solution to the client and helped them to move their entire data from their legacy database system to Salesforce. In so doing, we were able to design and implement an end-to-end Salesforce CRM solution, complete with the corresponding workflows for the client according to their requirements.
We automated each phase and broke it out into buying, processing and selling using Salesforce and provided role based authentication at each of these phases. In addition, we provided the needed hardware and third party web services integration needed to complete the process according to the client’s needs.
Results
Our solution reduced the paper-based process by 80%. This in turn enabled the client’s sales team to spend more time with end clients, and create the efficiencies needed to remain competitive in their markets.
