Process for enabling website call tracking in an adwords accounts
Procedure to set up website call conversion feature is pretty simple; settings are available under the Google Adwords Account, Conversion section from the drop down menu. Post which, tagging a phone number each time it is listed on the landing page is not necessary, instead one piece of conversion tracking code suffices all.
Note: A JAVA snippet still needs to be added, so that the number present on website can be replaced to a unique Google forwarding number.
The tracking feature helps understand, number of phone calls received from customers who found the business via clicking on the AdWords Ad . Keeping a track of these calls, help optimize the Ad campaigns and more accurately track return on investment.
